Italian conductor Claudio Abbado dies at age of 80



Italian conductor Claudio Abbado, former musical director of La Scala, has died at the age of 80, after a long illness. He made his debut at Milan's La Scala in 1960, before later taking charge of the Berlin Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. via Pocket http://ift.tt/1fTmnlu
